Our Story
Our founder, Fabian Hamilton, in various aspects of his life, particularly his educational experience, was always faced with setbacks and failures, and had his back against the wall, but every time when it looked like it was over, there was his savior - writing. After being an ‘A’ student throughout his schooling years, Fabian realized that he has a gift, where writing would save him many times. He would excel with his writing and be recognized and praised for it. However, it was when Fabian was faced with failure and great disappointment that he applied his writing quality, which would have even took him from an imminent ‘D’ to an ‘A’. So, Fabian said to himself, “I know what I am going to do with my life, I am going to write.” So, in 2020, having this purpose, and considering his college degree in business, his passion and skill for motivating and mentoring people, his philosophy on Love, his belief in God, plus, his graphic design knowledge and skill, Pen Excellence was born.
About the Artist
Throughout my life, I always find myself caught up in questions about the things displayed to me. I would come to focus on something, and my mind would always wonder as I was trying to find meaning beyond the obvious. I would see something, then my mind would say "things are not as they seem." This leads to a constant wonder and even daydreaming, leading me to discover new meanings; a new take on the things that I was told before. So, my style is taking the different aspects of life and expressing new, witty, humorous, thought-provoking, ingenious and innovatively creative ideas in my graphic design products. Living in New York City, I am exposed to a wide range of and constant new life experiences, and this has been captivating my wonder side, and being a great source of influence in my work.
